Job Summary
Lead and manage mechanical or electrical building services projects in major construction works, ensuring delivery to high technical, safety, and professional standards while overseeing team direction, manpower deployment, and multi-disciplinary integration.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage project teams to achieve project objectives as required by the Superintending Officer and consultants, ensuring adherence to professional, technical, and safety standards
- Oversee and administer manpower deployment aligned with main contractors’ work schedules, ensuring personnel welfare is maintained
- Manage contract administration proficiently under Public Service Sector Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) to ensure compliance and effective project delivery
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with Changi Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, Airport Operational and Safety (AOS) requirements, Workplace Safety & Health Manual, and all applicable airport circulars
- Provide governance and lead multi-disciplinary integration by managing interface registers and coordination workflows to systematically resolve interface and integration issues
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in mechanical or electrical building services within the building construction industry, including at least 15 years on projects of similar size and complexity involving major construction works in buildings
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Preferably accredited as a Registered Resident Engineer with the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES)
