- Design, document, and maintain the enterprise-wide risk management framework, covering identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of risks.
- Operationalize the Board-approved risk appetite and tolerance statements, translating strategic intent into measurable and enforceable limits across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Solvency II and DORA, upholding duty of care and due diligence obligations.
- Advise the Board and executive management on risk implications of strategic initiatives, M&A transactions, and capital investments, keeping decisions within approved risk appetite boundaries.
- Provide independent challenge and oversight across SCR calculations, the ORSA process, reinsurance strategy, and product development.
- Prepare and deliver internal and external risk reports, maintaining active engagement with regulators and supervisory authorities.
- Minimum 5 years of (senior) experience in risk management, actuarial, accounting, legal, or financial roles within non-life insurance.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proven expertise in Solvency II; knowledge of IFRS 17 is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with regulators and supervisory authorities.
- Actuarial qualification or comparable analytical background is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in an international environment, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and French; German is an advantage.
