Description

The CTO will drive the group’s technology vision, strategy, and execution. As a key member of the executive team, the CTO will lead the digital transformation journey, enhance technological capabilities across all business units, and ensure that technology aligns with overall business goals, enhancing operational efficiency and customer engagement.

Technology strategy & vision

  • Define and execute the group’s technology roadmap in alignment with strategic business goals.
  • Champion digital transformation across all business units, including automotive retail, aftersales, mobility services, and logistics.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and innovations that can improve business performance.

Leadership & management

  • Lead and develop the IT and digital teams, fostering a high-performance, agile, and innovative culture.
  • Collaborate with other executives to integrate technology into all areas of the organization, from customer service to operations and finance.
  • Oversee the management and development of enterprise-wide systems, platforms, and infrastructure.

Digital transformation & innovation

  • Drive the implementation of ERP, CRM, data analytics, and customer experience platforms across brands.
  • Oversee the development of digital products and e-commerce platforms that enhance customer journey.
  • Lead smart mobility, connectivity, and AI-driven initiatives aligned with industry trends.

Cybersecurity & risk management

  • Ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of IT systems and data.
  • Develop and maintain robust cybersecurity policies, risk management strategies, and disaster recovery plans.

Vendor & budget management

  • Manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers.
  • Optimize the technology budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and strategic investments.

Requirements

Qualifications & experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in tech functions, with at least 5 years in a senior technology leadership role. Proven track record of leading digital transformation in a large, multi-brand, customer-focused organization. Strong experience in ERP systems (preferably SAP or Oracle), CRM platforms, cloud technologies, and enterprise architecture. Automotive or retail industry experience is highly desirable.
