Chief Telecom Expert
Responsibilities:
- Lead Testing & Commissioning activities for all telecom systems including Radio (TETRA/LTE), PIS, PAS, CCTV,
ACIDS, SCADA, Networking, and UTO interfaces.
- Oversee system integration with
signaling, rolling stock, and control centers.
- Manage FAT, SAT, SIT and interface
testing with vendors and contractors.
- Review system architecture, technical
specifications, and as-built documentation for compliance with project
standards.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors, contractors, and
client teams for seamless project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with international safety
and quality standards (EN50126/8/9, IEC, IEEE).
- Provide technical support for tendering,
vendor selection, and project documentation.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer to client and O&M teams.
Requirements
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of project management experience, including at least 10 years in MRTS/LRTS/RRTS design projects in the relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in UTO (Unattended Train Operation) mode of train operations.
- At least one metro project involving telecom design/implementation.
- Minimum 3 years of international project experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong
knowledge of metro telecom architecture and UTO operations.
- Expertise
in installation, testing, commissioning, and system integration for
PAS, PIDS, CCTV, SCADA, Networking, and TETRA Radio Systems.
- Hands-on
experience with IPT, PAT, SAT, SIT, and telecom interface
management.
- Proficiency
in MS Project, ProjectWise, Primavera or similar project management
tools.
- Strong
leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience
in tendering processes, scope development, and contract
documentation.
- Familiarity
with statutory clearances (e.g., WPC) and payment processes
(IPA/IPC).
