Position Overview
As a Front Desk / Child Care Associate, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our members and their families. This position combines front desk responsibilities, member service, and providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children.
Responsibilities
Front Desk & Member Services
- Greet members and guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
- Assist members with check-ins and general questions.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
- Provide excellent customer service and help create a positive gym experience.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
Child Care
- Supervise children in the gym's designated child care area.
- Provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play.
- Follow all child care policies, safety procedures, and check-in/check-out protocols.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with parents.
- Keep the child care area clean, organized, and sanitized.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service-oriented personality.
- Enjoy working with children and interacting with families.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Ability to remain attentive and engaged while supervising children.
- Previous customer service or child care experience is a plus, but not required.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification, as required by the facility.
