Four Winds Hospital in Westchester is seeking a full-time, on-site, warm, energetic, child & adolescent psychiatrist to be medical director of a 15-bed child & adolescent unit.

Four Winds is a one of its kind, family-run psychiatric hospital founded in 1978, affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. We are a 175-bed facility where patients stay in cottages with adjacent play areas located on a beautiful 55-acre campus setting. Job highlights

• Unit Medical Director of a 15-bed child and adolescent unit
• Plentiful support and supervision
• Evaluate and treat child & adolescent patients on an inpatient unit
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team that includes a program director, nurse manager, therapists, and nurse practitioners
• Coordinate care with outside psychiatric prescribers
• Teach medical students if interested
• Academic faculty position if interested in teaching students
• Moonlighting opportunities
• Minimal on-call responsibilities

Qualifications

• New York State license
• Valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Salary

• Salary $380,000

Start Date

• Earliest July 1, 2027 but start date flexible
