Family Resource Center of South Florida Child Welfare Full Case Manager
This position requires a highly responsible individual who will be in charge of case management services for children who have been deemed unsafe due to abuse, abandonment and/or neglect. The Full Case Manager shall have a working knowledge of Florida Statutes Chapter 39, Operating Procedures and Florida’s Child Welfare Practice Model. Full Case Manager shall be able to properly manage and organize service provisions, drafting of all necessary documents and compliance with all other statutory and agency requirements. Full Case Manager shall be responsible for timely, efficient and effective work concerning every Child and Family assigned to his/her caseload.
- Certified or provisionally certified by the Florida Certification Board as CWCM, CWCM-P, CWPI, or CWPI-P (Preferred)
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required.
- A related degree is preferred. Related degrees (Behavioral Sciences; Community Development; Criminology/Criminal Justice; Education; Health Science; Human Development; Human Sciences; Political Science; Public Administration; Psychology; Social Policy; Sociology; Social Work; Law)
- Valid Driver's License is required.
