REPORTS TO: Granger Kids Preschool and Special Friends Coordinator

Team members regularly attend weekend services, regularly participate in church events and discipleship opportunities and tithe here at GCC. Each team member is a person of integrity and makes decisions based on biblically-formed core values and the GCC Staff Statement of Ethics. Each team member is loyal to Lead Pastor Ted Bryant, other staff and lay leaders while living as a passionate advocate of GCC’s mission, vision and values.

SUMMARY

In order to help kids take their next steps toward Christ together, this role provides a safe environment for kids as their parents participate in events and groups.

Childcare staff are scheduled as needed for events and groups. Childcare staff are leaders who love kids and their families and are wired to partner with them.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcoming - Greets every child and helps them to feel comfortable in the environment.

Engaging - Makes an effort to interact with each child and engages them in games and activities.

Caring - Helps to meet age-appropriate physical and emotional needs that may arise during the childcare event.

Success in this role looks like:

• A safe, loving and fun childcare environment.
• Families engaging in groups and events knowing kids are well cared for.
• Engagement with families in the opportunities that arise to encourage and affirm the steps kids are taking.
