Chinese Physician (TCM)
Summary
Provides Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) consultations, treatments (acupuncture, herbal medicine, etc.), and patient care in a Singapore-based clinic.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive and professional consultations & treatment to patients, including but not limited to educate patients about suitable treatment options to achieve optimal outcome.
- Understand patient medical history, symptoms, and health concerns & develop personalised TCM treatment to patients
- Skilful and ethical in treating patients with acupuncture, therapeutic massage, cupping, scrapping and internal medication.
- Prescribe Chinese Medicine / Medical Herb to support patients’ healing.
- Attend to clients' enquiries about treatments and other TCM-related queries.
- Ensure proper documentation of treatment services and medicine assigned to patients. The medical record card to be fill out correct and record the information of each treatment case truthfully.
- Maintain the confidentiality of patients' information.
- Work closely with therapists and clinic manager to customize holistic wellness treatment for the patients in a timely manner and give detailed instructions (eg patients need additional parts, services, etc).
- Adhere to the TCM Physician’s Code of Conduct and MOH’s regulatory requirements.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
- A valid registration with Singapore TCM Physician Practising Certificate.
- A caring and patient-oriented attitude.
- Passion for serving patients.
