Position Purpose
Under direct supervision of the Circuit Board Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for assembling and performing functional testing on circuit board assemblies.
Essential Job Functions (primary duties and outputs of position)
- On a production basis, perform light mechanical assembly work, which is typically of low to medium complexity and requires fitting, alignment, adjustments of components and assemblies.
- Performs pass/fail function tests using manual and automated test equipment and document all test results.
- Perform accurate job moves using company business system.
- Work from assembly documentation such as assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and work instructions with a minimum of supervision.
- Communicate clearly with Electronic Technicians, Circuit Board Lead and management support team in order to improve reliability and quality of assembled and tested item.
Safety
- Follow safe work practices, participate in safety training as required, and report any unsafe condition or accident.
Quality
- Employees are responsible to understand and support the quality policy and the appropriate elements of the quality management system for their areas of work, reduce, eliminate, and prevent quality deficiencies including escapes.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process, and quality system.
- All employees have the responsibility and authority to identify quality deficiencies, elevate any concerns for action within or related to our quality system and processes.
