Cisco Voice Architect

Global World Technology (GWT) in Fairfax, VA is hiring an experienced, analytical problem solver to join our team as a full-time Cisco Voice Architect. Build upon your existing industry experience and make an impact by designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise voice, unified communications, and cloud-based solutions.

Pay: $120,000 – $145,000 per year, reflecting your experience, qualifications, and technical abilities

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing, configuring, and implementing Cisco enterprise voice and unified communications solutions
• Troubleshooting Cisco Webex Contact Center and Webex Calling environments and fixing complex voice, network, and connectivity issues
• Maintaining Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) solutions and call routing
• Supporting Cisco cloud communications platforms and related integrations
• Evaluating existing infrastructure and recommending performance, reliability, and scalability enhancements
• Working with engineering teams and stakeholders to drive system improvements and technical implementations
• Maintaining accurate configurations, technical documents, and architectural designs

CISCO VOICE ARCHITECT QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Cisco voice, unified communications, or enterprise communications engineering
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Webex Contact Center and Webex Calling
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)
• Experience with VoIP, enterprise networking, and voice infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Cisco call routing and cloud-based communications solutions
• Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and technical documentation skills
• Ability to work onsite in Fairfax, VA

Preference is given to candidates with a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – Enterprise Infrastructure certification. Experience executing enterprise-scale Cisco communications solutions and managing cloud communications integrations/migrations would also be helpful.
