Triumph Construction LLC is a fast-growing heavy civil contractor based in Baton Rouge specializing in:

• Municipal drainage and storm sewer
• Unground utilities
• Concrete paving and roadway improvements
• Street rehabilitation
• ADA improvements
• LADOTD & municipal infrastructure projects

We currently manage multiple public works projects throughout Louisiana and are seeking an experienced heavy civil project manager who can independently manage projects from startup through closeout.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager with experience in:

• Heavy civil construction
• Municipal/public works
• Drainage and underground utilities
• Concrete roadway/sitework
• LADOTD projects

The ideal candidate should be able to independently manage projects from startup through closeout while maintaining schedule, profitability, documentation, subcontractor, coordination, change orders, pay applications, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple active heavy civil construction projects from startup through closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, field operations, and production.
• Prepare, review, and manage pay applications and monthly billings
• Track job costs, committed costs, and project profitability.
• Maintain accurate cost to complete forecasts and assist with monthly WIP reporting.
• Identify, price, document, and negotiate change orders,
• Manage RFI'S submittals, project documentation, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, municipalities subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts and project requirements.
• Work closely with superintendents to monitor production, schedule, manpower, and equipment needs.
• Lead project meetings and maintain action Item follow up.
• Ensure safety, quality and contract compliance.
• Manage project closeout, punch lists, final documentation, and collections.
• Work closely with estimating and operations teams to protect project margin and schedule.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of heavy civil construction project management experience
• Experience managing municipal, public works, or heavy civil infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of:
  • Drainage
  • Storm sewer
  • Underground utilities
  • Concrete paving/roadway work
  • Public works construction
• Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, job-cost tracking, and change-order management
• Ability to read plans, specifications, contracts, and project schedules
• Ability to manage multiple active projects and coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and inspectors
• Strong communication and documentation skills

• LADOTD project experience
• Experience with pay applications, RFIs, submittals, WIP/cost-to-complete forecasting, and project closeout
• Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, or similar construction-management software
