I'm working with a well-established multidisciplinary built environment consultancy that is looking to strengthen its London civil engineering team with an experienced

Civil Engineer .

The consultancy works across a diverse range of sectors including

education, residential, commercial, healthcare, defence, aviation and wider infrastructure , giving you the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects from planning through to construction.

This would suit a Civil Engineer looking to develop their technical experience across

highways, drainage and development infrastructure , while working alongside a wider multidisciplinary design team.

The Role

You'll be involved in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from early planning stages through to construction, with opportunities to work on both multidisciplinary projects and standalone civil engineering schemes.

Your responsibilities will include:
Producing civil engineering design drawings and specifications for planning, pricing and construction
Designing

highways, drainage and development infrastructure
Designing sustainable drainage systems and SuDS
Highway and pavement design
Earthworks engineering and cut-and-fill assessments
Underground services and utilities
Flood alleviation schemes
Pumping stations and sewerage systems
External works and infrastructure
Preparing and supporting

S278, S38 and S104 agreements
Working with wider design teams, clients, contractors and other stakeholders
Attending construction sites to respond to contractor queries and monitor works against design
Providing technical input throughout projects from concept through to completion
Supporting continuous improvement within the civil engineering team
