Land Development Project Manager / Civil Design Engineer
Raleigh, NC area — On-site (relocation assistance available)
$95K–$120K base salary + Bonus
Summary
Our client, a well-established real estate developer, is expanding its internal engineering team and seeking a Project Manager / Civil Engineer to lead site and land development projects from design through delivery. This is a hands-on role with one primary client, direct mentorship from a VP, and a culture that prioritizes quality work over billable hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of site/civil design engineering experience (residential or mixed-use)
- PE License, or actively pursuing/testing for one (NC license a plus)
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, (HydroCAD, and Hydroflow highly )
Responsibilities
- Prepare grading, drainage, and stormwater design plans
- Review and markup drawings and coordinate with contractors
- Manage site and land development projects from design through delivery
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Ensure quality and compliance with jurisdictional standards
