Civil Engineer

• Basic Salaries: The basic salary ranges from OMR 512 to OMR 686, with a total salary package between OMR 823 to OMR 997 and up to OMR 1,200, depending on the candidate’s experience.
• Food, Accommodation, and Transportation Benefits: The company will provide shared accommodation, three meals per day, and local transportation.
• Working Hours / Overtime: 8 hours per day, with no overtime.
• Contract Period: 2 years, renewable.
• Annual Leave: 25 working days per year.
• VISA Type: Family visa.
• Mobilization Start Date: As soon as possible.

2. JOB PURPOSE:
Technical co-coordinator to supervise and all civil and structural jobs in ADC.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

 Supervise and guide the sub-contractor for the all civil & structural repair works in the Docks and
yard
 Prepare Tender documents and Specifications for all civil and structural repair works
 Technical Co-coordinator to supervise and all civil and structural jobs in shipyard and related
facilities.
 Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
 Using a range of computer packages for developing detailed designs.
 Undertaking complex and repetitive calculations.
 Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects, subcontractors, etc
 Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures.
 Resolving design and development problems.
 Managing budgets and project resources.
 Scheduling material and equipment purchases and delivery.
 Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
 Good experience in Building works.

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum Experience:
4 years of experience in Same field.

 Sound mathematical and technical skills including physics
 Ability to think methodically, to design, plan and manage projects
 Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills combined with the ability to delegate.
 Requires ability to lead a team of employees.
 Must be a computer literate with experience in MS Office.
 Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
 Exposure to ISO 9001-2000 standards.
