CIVIL ENGINEER - INTERDISCIPLINARY

Oversees the Engineering Program on the base as it relates to existing facilities and systems, as well as planned improvements in order to provide increase efficiency of base operations by utilizing a professional knowledge of architectural, civil, electrical or mechanical engineering. Provides professional advice on Sustainable Design and Engineering practices. Serves as a consulting architect/engineer on all design aspects of assigned projects. Keeps abreast of emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure that facility equipment, projects, and strategies remain relevant and functional.
