Civil Engineer Intern- Structural

As an intern, responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
- Assist with plan specifications and estimates as well as documenting construction activities.
- Assist with AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings and update redlines with various project set drawings.
- Operate electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station.
- Perform work in a variety of software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, etc.
- Potential observation and data collection at different types of project sites.
- Assist with research, development and design of projects.
- Enrolled in a Civil Engineering, or related Engineering program.
- Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD are preferred.
- Able to work extended periods of time in outdoor conditions.
- Above average math and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and availability for overnight travel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D and ArcGIS is helpful.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with project team members, and clients.
- Task management skills, including scheduling, prioritizing, following up, and keeping project information organized.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
