Civil Engineer

About the role

Our established Community Development team have an opportunity for a Civil Engineer with knowledge within Urban design sector to join us on a permanent basis. Based in Maroochydore office, this role will see you provide civil design services within urban development, land development, master planned communities, high-density developments through to major infrastructure projects.

Day to day tasks would involve\:

• Provision of high-quality technical design and consulting services in relation to civil and urban infrastructure projects
• Preparation of designs, reports, and specifications for infrastructure projects in accordance with relevant design standards
• Working with management to further develop our infrastructure capability in this region (with a particular focus on local council clients) through involvement in bids/tenders and actively engaging in business development activities
• Ensuring there is a strong and embedded safety commitment to Zero Harm

To be successful for this role you’ll need

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
• Demonstrated civil design experience within urban area
• Experience in developing relationships with local councils, road authority and developers
• Good technical report writing skills
• Outstanding communication skills to liaise with the team, senior management and external partners to produce commercial, client focused outcomes.
