Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be involved in engineering project planning, site assessments, construction scheduling, and site supervision to ensure projects are carried out efficiently and in accordance with the required technical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Study and evaluate construction projects, including site conditions and project requirements.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine suitable construction materials, equipment, and methods.
Prepare construction schedules, coordinate project planning, and monitor project progress.
Research and develop appropriate construction methods for projects involving special geological conditions or challenging site environments.
Supervise and inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved plans, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to support the smooth execution of construction projects.
Identify potential technical issues and recommend practical engineering solutions to improve construction efficiency and project outcomes.
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. Candidates with qualifications in Project Engineering or a related field may also be considered, subject to relevance to the role.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
Good English communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with project teams and relevant stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally in the construction industry.
Professional Engineer (PEB) Recognition: Candidates with qualifications recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) will be considered. Where applicable, candidates must meet the relevant professional registration requirements for the duties assigned.
