- Estimating materials and labor costs for specific projects
- Coordinating the work performed by other construction workers on a project site, including skilled laborers and unskilled laborers
- Scheduling work crews to ensure that projects are completed on time
- Coordinating with architects or engineers to ensure that construction plans meet building codes and standards
- Reviewing blueprints and other construction plans to determine feasibility of design ideas
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Relevant certificate may be required.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping.
- On-the-job training as a landscape crew member.
- Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous.
