Civil Inspector
Description
HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a meticulous civil inspector to oversee civil construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The civil inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of civil works including foundations, structural elements, roadworks, and other infrastructure components.
- Verify that construction work complies with design drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Identify and report any non-conformances, defects, or safety hazards.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site supervisors to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
- Support quality control processes and assist in testing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in civil construction inspection or quality control.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
