Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Civil / Landscaping Technician I to join our growing team. The Civil / Landscaping Technician I will assist with a variety of outdoor construction and landscaping activities, helping prepare, maintain, and restore project sites while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is eager to learn new skills, and takes pride in producing quality work. Previous experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right individual.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with site preparation, grading, and cleanup activities.
- Perform landscaping tasks including planting, mulching, sod installation, irrigation support, and general grounds maintenance.
- Operate hand tools and small power equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with excavation support, trenching, and installation of underground utilities or site improvements.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Install and maintain erosion control measures and restore disturbed work areas.
- Follow project plans, supervisor instructions, and company quality standards.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Complete daily work reports and other required documentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
