Note

Candidates must have an active California Bar license, 2+ years of hands-on litigation experience, and actual courtroom appearance experience. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Job Description

• Manage civil litigation matters from initial case evaluation through resolution or trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, conferences, and litigation proceedings.
• Conduct depositions, manage discovery, and prepare witnesses and evidence.
• Develop case strategies and collaborate with colleagues on complex legal matters.
• Prepare cases for mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial.
• Work directly with clients while maintaining high standards of professionalism and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in California.
• 2+ years of substantive litigation experience, preferably in civil litigation.
• Hands-on courtroom experience and familiarity with civil litigation procedures.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with depositions, discovery, and trial preparation is highly valued.
• Ability to independently manage cases while working effectively with a team.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset.
