Location: Amarillo, TX — Hybrid opportunity with in-person work preferred. We offer flexibility for the right attorney while valuing the collaboration and connection that come from working with our team in person.

  • Handle a diverse caseload involving civil litigation matters from initial strategy through resolution.
  • Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Manage discovery, depositions, hearings, negotiations, and other litigation activities.
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide practical, business-minded legal guidance.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and professional staff to develop effective strategies and deliver excellent client service.
  • Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings as appropriate.
  • Manage deadlines, case files, and competing priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented practice while taking ownership of assigned matters.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
  • Civil litigation experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage cases independently while working effectively within a team.
  • Professional judgment, attention to detail, and strong client-service skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work in person in Amarillo when needed.
