Civil Procurement Manager

  1. Follow up the down payment to subcontractors after the approval of the projects sector.
  2. Record in log all subcontractors in all activities in the contracting sector.
  3. Coordination with all departments of the company with regard to subcontractors such as: (financial management, cost management, planning management, etc...).
  4. Full coordination with the supply chain regarding the prices of raw materials and the fluctuations of the local market and the request for any samples or technical specifications of raw materials.
  5. Negotiating subcontractors to reach the highest profitability of the company.
  6. Coordination with the projects sector and project managers with full follow-up of the time schedule that meets the duration of the project's implementation, its beginning and end.
  7. Studying projects and determining the ideal way to contract with subcontractors (manufactures - mortar and rent - integrated - etc....)
  8. Follow up the submission of documents for the works to be contracted with subcontractors, analyze and evaluate the submitted offers and negotiate the best terms and conditions.
  9. Select the best contractors suitable for the type of the project to be contracted for, and following up the performance of those contracts.
  10. Review the list of subcontractors, pricing items with the team and review the price comparison before presenting it to the director of the department.
  11. Review the performance evaluation reports of subcontractors according to the contract to ensure that the technical and financial objectives of the contract have been implemented.
  12. Recommend the best ways to overcome any problems hindering the implementation process.
  13. Review and edit the plan of the necessary needs for implementation, number of contracts for each item and the extent of compatibility with the rates and the projects schedule.
  14. Follow up the implementation of the terms of the contract for subcontractors to ensure compliance with the specified dates and specifications and Analyze the technical works, costs and prices.
  15. Develop the policy and procedures for subcontracting with the Contracts and Procurement department.
  16. Managing subcontractors and coordinating between the company's team and contractors and determining the raw materials used for all subcontracted works.
  17. Monitoring the regulation of works, schedule and implementation of the main stages of the project
  18. Preparing the necessary reports to inform the company's departments about the status of subcontracts, the extent of their compliance, the amendments made to them, the existing negotiations and the dates of contracting.
  19. Preparing and submitting estimated budgets, progress reports and follow-up costs.
  20. Provide technical support and work with project managers and contract department to prepare pricing requests and the method of work.
  21. Full supervision of the team and their distribution according to the needs of the work between the Head office and the sites.
  22. Attend all meetings of the management of subcontractors.

BSc of (Civil – Architectural) Engineering

Certified (Finance for Non-Financial Managers)

15 - 20 years in a similar job, in the field of engineering and contracting companies

Good command in both spoken and written English
