Civil & Structural Design Lead
Summary
Oversee civil and structural design for life-science/pharmaceutical facilities in Singapore, ensuring code compliance and coordinating multi-discipline teams.
We currently have a requirement for a Civil & Structural Design Lead to work on various projects in Singapore. This appointment will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to further develop their technical and managerial skills along with excellent opportunities for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead in the preparation of detailed design reports, calculations and drawings.
- Lead in the coordination with other disciplines in preparation of design deliverables.
- Lead and support design development, site supervision, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage authority submissions.
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and quality improvement proposals.
- Liaise with clients and local authorities on technical matters
- Building relationships in partnership with clients, contractors and other members of design teams.
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in leading and designing life science/pharmaceutical type of facilities in Singapore.
- Familiarity with Singapore BCA Euro code, Greenmark, Buildability score and Singapore C&S permitting requirements.
- Good project management skills and strong analytical skills
