Civil & Structural Design Manager (A1 Main Con, Iconic Project)
Summary
Oversee civil and structural design teams for large-scale construction projects in Singapore, coordinating deliverables, approvals, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
An established A1 main contractor within the construction sector is looking to strengthen its engineering capabilities through the appointment of a C&S Design Manager. This position will play a pivotal role in coordinating design activities and supporting the execution of large-scale projects islandwide.
What you will do
- Lead and guide a team of engineers/coordinators to ensure effective delivery of design outputs.
- Manage and oversee design and planning activities to meet project objectives within budget and timeline.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on design matters, including submissions and approvals.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment across functions and project requirements.
- Monitor design progress, manage schedules, and review technical drawings and deliverables.
- Provide technical expertise in civil and structural design coordination, and ensure compliance with regulatory and workplace safety standards..
What you will need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a PE Board recognized university
- Minimum 8 years of relevant C&S design & coordination experience with large scale projects
