Civil & Structural Resident Technical Officer

Job Description:

  • Assist Resident Engineer to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Resident Engineer.

  • Assist the Resident Engineer in supervision and inspection of construction works on site, as and when directed by the Consultant Team

  • Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.

  • Ensure all works including temporary works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.

  • Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.

  • Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.

  • Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.

  • Maintain site records.

  • Estimated commencement of work in Q3 2026

Job Requirements:

  • ITE certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.

  • Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) with valid RTO Practising Certificate

  • Minimum 8 years’ working experience as a Resident Technical Officer. Those who possess QA/QC experience in Precast fabrication, production and construction will have added advantage.

  • Preferably with experiences in healthcare projects.

  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills.

  • Must be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil & Structural related to building projects.

  • Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports.

  • A good team player and experience in assisting Resident Engineer in supervision.

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD will have an added advantage
