We are currently looking for a Civil Works Quality Technician to join a major company in the construction and civil works sector.
The selected person will be responsible for monitoring and quality control in civil works projects, guaranteeing compliance with technical and regulatory requirements during execution.
What you'll do
- Preparation and monitoring of Quality Plans, Testing Plans, and Inspection Point Plans (IPP).
- Quality control in civil works: embankments, concrete and metal structures, precast elements, asphalt paving, and watertightness.
- Coordination with external laboratories, monitoring of tests, and control of material acceptance and traceability.
- Quality document management, review of certificates, and preparation of Quality Dossiers.
- Supervision of anti-corrosive treatments, fire-retardant treatments, and passive fire protection systems.
- Monitoring of Non-Conformities, Environmental Surveillance Plans, and waste document management.

Essential requirements
- Demonstrable experience in quality control of civil works projects.
- Experience in the preparation of Quality Plans, Testing Plans, IPP, and document management.
- Knowledge of material control, testing, traceability, and monitoring of Non-Conformities.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations: Structural Code, PG-3, Instruction 6.1-IC for Pavement Sections, and the Technical Building Code (CTE).
Valuable requirements
- Degree in Public Works Engineering, Civil Engineering (Caminos, Canales y Puertos), or Building Engineering.
- Alternatively, Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) in the Construction branch.
