Summary
Processes commercial insurance policies by reviewing applications, inputting data, and modifying policies while collaborating with agents and underwriters.

What You’ll Do:
- Embraces change, leads by example, maintains a positive work environment and ongoing learning culture.
- Collaborates effectively with team members to ensure the implementation of streamlined processes, quality and timeliness standards that have been set by commercial lines management.
- Reviews incoming applications to ensure accurate product placement.
- Engages with external carrier partners.
- Professionally communicate with the agents as necessary.
- Accurately input new business into the system to ensure proper policy rating.
- Modify policy information during the policy term based on requests from agents, insured parties, and underwriters, and accurately generate updated policy details and premiums as required.
- Keep policy documents up-to date, well organized in document storage according to company standards.
- Mitigates risk by conducting various research and lookups to support underwriters in their decision-making process.
- Review renewal accounts to verify that the proper renewal process is accurately executed.
- Distribute change-in-condition letters to identified high-risk accounts.
- Work cross functionally within our Agency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail required.

What You’ll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Six months insurance related experience
- Microsoft Office and data entry experience
- Property/casualty insurance background and jewelry industry experience

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
