Claim Specialist, Established MNC (Up to $3000 | Central)
Summary
Handles insurance claims by investigating, recovering, and documenting third-party liabilities while ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures.
Location: Raffles Place
Salary: $2,800 - $3,000 + 1 month completion bonus
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9AM-6PM
Duration: 12 months Contract (Extendable/Convertible based on performance / business needs)
Job scope:
You will also coordinate, investigate, and recover claims by pursuing the responsible third party and assist in providing service to policyholders/customers through subrogation efforts.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency in resolving recovery of claims and ensure that the recovery target is met
• Contact and engage with our policyholders on daily basis to gather information and assist them in claim submission to third party
• Use sound communication skills to successfully persuade and convince policyholders to proceed with the claim recovery process
• Demonstrate and ensure standard operating procedures are met when handling outbound and inbound calls with policyholders and financial representatives
• Ensuring proper tracking and documentation of calls activities and outcomes
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
• Any other ad-hoc assignments/projects assigned by supervisor.
Our Requirements
Must have Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, insurance qualifications or equivalent experience preferably 1 year of insurance claims recovery or customer service experience
Strong interpersonal, analytical and negotiation abilities required Excellent organizational and time management skills
Team player as well as capable of individual performance
Knowledge of life insurance policy coverage, statutes, regulations and subrogation processing is plus
