Claims Specialist Team Manager

The Claims Specialist Team Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance, and operational oversight of the Claims Specialist team. This role ensures claims are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with payer and internal requirements while managing workload distribution and quality across an assigned portfolio of dental practices.

The Claims Specialist Team Manager serves as the primary escalation point for complex, aged, or disputed claims and partners closely with Revenue Cycle Management, credentialing, payer contracting, and field teams to resolve issues impacting reimbursement.

• 3+ years of experience in claims processing, medical/dental billing, or revenue cycle management
  
• 3+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience
  
• Strong working knowledge of payer contracts, claims adjudication, and denial management
  
• Proficiency with claims/practice-management systems such as Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or equivalent
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

• Experience within a DSO or multi-site healthcare/dental organization
  
• Familiarity with credentialing and provider enrollment
  
• Experience with claims/ticketing platforms such as ClickUp, Zoho Desk, Asana, Jira, Freshdesk, or similar
  
• Working knowledge of state-specific prompt-pay requirements and payer recoupment timelines
