Class 1 Driver
American Iron and Metal is searching for an experienced Class 1 Driver with B Train experience based out of Moncton. Experience in any machinery is an asset.
- Pick up and/or deliver to AIM’s commercial clients or another AIM site;
- Willing to be on the road Monday-Friday (Bunk Truck)
- Secure the loads;
- Tarp the load, if necessary;
- Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition;
- Perform a daily inspection;
- Keep reports up-to-date;
- Always work in a safe manner.
- Other labourous and operating duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Self Loader experience considered an asset
- Must be willing to be trained in Self Loader if not already
- Must be willing to be trained with B trains if not already
- Class 1 license, required;
- Good drivers abstract;
- Minimum two (2) years experience
Aptitudes Requested:
- Follow all laws and regulations, in regards to driving truck;
- Responsible, careful and alert at all times;
- Willing and able to perform labour intensive tasks;
- Full time; permanent position
