Class 1 Shuttle Driver

Canadian Linen is currently seeking a Shuttle Driver to join our team! The successful applicant will possess a positive attitude, good communication skills and a high level of initiative.

What you’ll do:

Transport clean and dirty product to and from branch to depot.
Load truck with Canadian Linen product, and off load dirty linen product, containers and soil
Drivers logbook done daily and accurate to the law
Lifting and handling up to 75lbs
Preventative maintenance on truck, checking oil and fluids
Maintain a clean driver abstract at all time
Work activities involve body postures other than, or in addition to, Standing and walking such as bending, stooping, kneeling and crouching
Work activities involve co-ordination of upper limbs.
Prolonged walking and standing
As well as other duties as assigned

We are looking for individuals who:

Have class 1 driver's license
Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from truck without assistance.
Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs. This position requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
Ability to work under supervision and follow standard procedures and compliance with all health and safety standards
Personal and professional integrity, appearance, and demeanor

Schedule & Travel Requirements
5-day work week, Monday - Friday.
8-hour shifts, 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Travel required: From Calgary to Red Deer and back, no overnights.
