THE ROLE
Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce Logistics, and as a fully qualified Class 2 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Use of a handheld terminal to record accurate information
Occasionally driving 3.5t vehicles during peak periods
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
Driving Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
Ensure you do your daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
Ensure you inform the transport office of any problems in good time i.e. if you’re running late
Fit to drive; considering alcohol intake, daily rest, prescribed/over the counter medication that could affect your ability to drive
To ensure you arrive at your job on time
Excellent customer service
Maintain health and safety standards
Operating in a safe way, following all road rules
Ensure all paperwork is correct, completed and returned to the transport office
Delivering goods to various locations

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Refrigeration experience is preferred but not essential
Minimum experience: 6 months
Valid Digital Tachograph card is essential
Completed CPC training course
Class 2 Driving License (C+E)
Valid CPC, Digital tacho cards
Flexibility
Strong logistical and geographical knowledge
Good communication skills
Multi-drop experience preferred
Ability to be adaptable and flexible with start & finish times
Fully completed driver CPC
HGV / LGV Class 2 licence with at least 12 months experience
Be able to work weekends
Good work Ethic
