Job Summary
You will load and unload stock, manage routes and deliveries, drive safely while transporting workers, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and maintain communication to ensure timely and safe operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload stock accurately at warehouse and customer locations to maintain workflow efficiency
- Drive workers safely to designated job sites, following all traffic laws and safety procedures
- Plan and manage delivery routes to ensure on-time arrivals and departures
- Communicate promptly with workers and schedulers about any delays to adjust plans accordingly
- Perform basic maintenance checks on lorry tyres, lights, and oil to ensure vehicle reliability
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the lorry to support safe operations
- Operate and control equipment safely to prevent accidents and damage
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support smooth daily operations
- Remain calm and patient in stressful situations to maintain safety and service quality
