Class 4 Driver

Job Summary

Perform scheduled and ad-hoc delivery services using Class 4 vehicles, handling loading/unloading, managing sensitive products safely, completing accurate paperwork, and maintaining communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods on scheduled daily routes and milk-run schedules to meet delivery timelines
• Execute ad-hoc collections and deliveries as assigned to support operational needs
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently to prevent damage and ensure timely delivery
• Complete all delivery documents and paperwork accurately to maintain proper records
• Pack, transport, and handle sensitive products following established protocols to ensure product integrity
• Follow safety and security protocols to protect sensitive goods and ensure personal and public safety
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure compliance with safety and traffic regulations for safe operation
• Operate 24-ft vehicles, including standard and temperature-controlled units, to deliver various product types

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 driving license with at least 2 years of driving experience
• Ability to physically lift items weighing up to 20kg
• Proficient in reading, writing, communicating, and understanding English

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience delivering using Class 4 vehicles
• Familiarity with Singapore roads
• Forklift license
• Willingness to work weekends and support overtime
