Class A CDL Local Driver – Home Daily

Freight Type: No-Touch Freight | Pay: Up to $1,550/week | Sign-On/Transition Bonus: None

Looking for a stable local driving job that gets you home to your family every single day? We are hiring Class A CDL drivers to operate dedicated retail grocery routes out of our Opelika hub, delivering across Atlanta, Birmingham, and South Georgia.

What You'll Do:

  • Home Time & Schedule: Daily home time with 5-day or 6-day work schedule options.
  • Freight & Handling: Dedicated grocery freight running refrigerated (reefer) equipment. 100% no-touch freight involving live load, live unload, and drop & hook.
  • Weekly Mileage: Averages between 1,200 miles (5-day schedule) to 1,800 miles (6-day schedule).
  • Shifts & Operations: Both day and night shifts available; weekends and holidays required based on customer delivery needs. Slip-seating required.

Pay & Compensation:

  • 5-Day Work Schedule: Average earnings of $800 – $1,200 per week ($10 pay for all stops).
  • 6-Day Work Schedule: Average earnings of $1,300 – $1,550 per week ($10 for 1st stop, $15 for all subsequent stops).
  • Guarantee Pay: First 3 months solo progression guarantees of $1,200 and $1,500.
  • Short-Haul Pay: $40 flat pay for loads under 51 miles.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL (Open to both Trainees and Experienced/First Seat Drivers; no owner-operators or teams).
  • Willingness to navigate store/backhaul wait times and manage multi-stop routes.
  • Mandatory pre-employment drug screening (urine and hair follicle testing).
