ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

POSITION SUMMARY

CLASS C DRIVERS, formerly known as swampers, do any tasks that are needed that do not require a CDL. They prepare totes for shipment, loading flatbed trucks with orders, unload trucks, deliver drums or package goods with a class C type vehicle and pulling a small trailer if needed, wash totes and other equipment, clean around the yards and warehouse, take inventories, and attend to customers when there is walk up traffic.
CLASS C DRIVERS (frac operations) fuel auxiliary equipment at customer frac locations, rotating 12 hrs shifts, using a non-cdl fueling truck stationed on site.
CLASS C DRIVERS (railroad operations) check locomotives for fluid levels, oil, coolant etc., and refill as needed, clean bathrooms and cabs, empty the toilet septic tank, rinsing, refilling with clean water, and add blue tablets to septic system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate Class C vehicles to deliver fuel, lubricants, and related products to customer locations and job sites.
Load and unload products while following all company, DOT, and OSHA safety procedures.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, vehicle logs, and pre/post-trip inspection records.
Provide professional, courteous customer service during all deliveries.
Communicate clearly with Logistics and team members to ensure operational efficiency.
Follow safety and operational procedures related to hazardous materials and equipment handling.
Terminal housekeeping duties, including landscaping.
Assist drivers when a helper is required.
Keep assigned vehicle clean and in good working order.
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Basic communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
High level of responsibility and safety awareness.
Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Must be able to perform basic math and use a computer or tablet for basic tasks.
Forklift or Skytrax operation experience is preferred (or ability to be certified).
Understanding of fuel pumping procedures required.
Must pass background check and drug screening in accordance with company policy.

PHYSICAL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, and stand or sit for extended periods, both indoors and outdoors.
Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment.
Travel to company and customer sites, mainly in Texas.
