Clean Room Technician (Semiconductor) - Freshers are welcome to apply.
ON-THE JOB TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

This role works inside semiconductor fabrication plants (fabs), maintaining ultra-clean environments (ISO Class 1–7) to prevent even microscopic particles from damaging wafers and microchips. It is critical to production quality, yield, and safety.

📌 Key Responsibilities

Cleanroom Protocol & Control: Strictly follow gowning, hygiene, and behaviour rules; maintain cleanliness, monitor air quality, temperature, humidity, and particle levels; perform regular cleaning and decontamination of tools, surfaces, and equipment. Will need to carry, move, and handle items weighing above 5 kg as required

Equipment Operation: Load/unload wafers into tools (etching, deposition, lithography, cleaning, inspection); set parameters, run recipes, monitor processes; perform basic checks, cleaning, and routine maintenance.

Material & Wafer Handling: Transport, store, and track wafers/pods; handle with extreme care to avoid damage or contamination; ensure correct batch flow and traceability.

Inspection & Quality: Visual/ microscopic checks for defects; log results; report abnormalities immediately; follow SOPs and quality standards.

Documentation & Reporting: Record all actions, parameters, and issues; update logs, systems, and handover notes; keep accurate records for compliance.

Safety & Compliance: Handle chemicals/gases safely; follow EHS rules; wear full PPE (bunny suit, gloves, mask, goggles); maintain 5S standards.

Support: Assist engineers with trials, troubleshooting, and improvements; perform minor repairs or adjustments as trained.
