Job Description

As a Cleaner, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for military personnel, staff, and visitors. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will deliver high standards of cleaning across a large army barracks site.

Key responsibilities:

• Cleaning offices, personnel accommodation, communal areas, corridors, washrooms, and welfare facilities.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising designated areas.
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to Aramark standards.
• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Reporting cleaning supply requirements and any maintenance issues as required.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent service standards.
• Supporting the wider facilities team when required.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, accommodation, or facilities environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety, with H&S Level 1 required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently when required.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high standards.

Security Requirements

As this role is based on a military site, successful candidates will be required to:

• Pass a DBS check.
• Have been a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years to satisfy security clearance requirements.
