1 Month Contract with a Local Authority
Umbrella - £16.00 per hour - Umbrella
Job Purpose
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment within a primary school and nursery setting, ensuring all learning and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
• Clean classrooms and learning areas.
• Clean nursery facilities and child-focused spaces.
• Clean offices and staff areas.
• Clean toilets and washroom facilities.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
• Dust and sanitise surfaces.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow health and safety and cleaning procedures.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns when identified.
Essential Experience Required
• Previous cleaning experience desirable.
• Experience working within schools, nurseries or public buildings desirable.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Understanding of cleaning methods, COSHH and health & safety requirements.
• Ability to maintain high hygiene standards.
Additional Information to Note
• Working Hours: 10 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday.
• Shift Pattern: 06:00 - 08:00.
• Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, NG15 8HY.
• School and Nursery Environment.
• Enhanced DBS Required.
• Supplier Submission Deadline: 21st November 2026
• We work on bi-weekly payment schedule.
