Job Description
Our Client is seeking a dependable, thorough, and conscientious Cleaner to join their veterinary care team on a part-time morning shift. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding strict sanitation and hygiene standards across our consultation rooms, surgical/treatment areas, wards, and reception before daily outpatient operations commence.The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a sterile and clean environment, is comfortable working in an animal care setting, and has a disciplined record of punctuality for early morning routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, sweep, mop, and disinfect consultation rooms, treatment areas, surgery prep areas, animal kennels/holding wards, and public waiting areas using veterinary-grade disinfectants.
- Safely clear and dispose of clinical waste, general refuse, and animal waste in strict adherence to hospital hygiene and biohazard protocols.
- Restock hand soaps, paper towels, sanitizers, and waste liners across all wash stations and clinical suites.
- Clean and sanitize all cleaning gear after use, store equipment properly, and report any facility maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly.
- Able to commit strictly to the early morning schedule: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; Wednesday & Sunday off).
- Physically fit to perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, bending, and handling laundry bags or waste bins.
