Cleaning Services Manager - Alicante

About the role

We are looking for a Services Manager with experience in street cleaning and waste collection to lead the operations of a contract. The person will be responsible for team coordination, service control, and relationship management with the Administration.

What you'll do

• Manage the daily operations of the street cleaning, washing, and urban waste collection service.
• Plan routes, frequencies, and service organization in accordance with the contract.
• Coordinate operational teams (drivers, laborers, supervisors, and cleaning staff).
• Supervise service compliance and manage incidents, optimizing resources.
• Control the cleanliness status of the municipality and propose operational improvements.
• Manage rosters, shifts, vacations, absenteeism, and substitutions.
• Supervise the performance and compliance with procedures by the team.
• Maintain daily communication with municipal managers and contract technicians.
• Ensure compliance with the technical specifications and monitoring of service KPIs.
• Prepare activity reports, incident reports, and improvement proposals.
• Supervise the maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and material resources.
• Control consumption, PPE, tools, and coordination with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with OSH, quality, and environmental regulations.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Higher Vocational Training or University Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Urban Services Management, Logistics, or similar.
• Essential experience in the management of street cleaning and/or waste collection services.
• Experience in coordinating operational teams and service planning.
• Valuable experience in municipal contracts and administrative concession environments.
• Knowledge in interpreting technical specifications and KPI management.
• Proficiency in IT tools (Excel, Outlook, Office) and report preparation.
• Driving license B.
• Profile with high organizational capacity, leadership, incident resolution, and results orientation.
