Job Responsibilities
1. Cleaning Operations Management
- Plan, organize, and manage daily cleaning service operations.
- Ensure all assigned premises are cleaned and maintained to the required standards.
- Develop cleaning schedules, work plans, and task assignments.
- Monitor the quality and efficiency of cleaning services.
2. Staff Management
- Supervise, train, and coordinate cleaning staff and supervisors.
- Assign duties and work locations according to operational requirements.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.
- Conduct staff briefings and provide guidance on proper cleaning procedures.
- Address staff performance and workplace issues appropriately.
3. Quality Control
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaning areas and facilities.
- Ensure cleaning standards, hygiene requirements, and client expectations are met.
- Identify cleaning deficiencies and arrange corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records and prepare service-quality reports.
4. Cleaning Materials & Equipment
- Monitor the availability and proper use of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain records of cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
- Arrange replenishment of materials when required.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and safely operated.
5. Client & Customer Management
- Liaise with clients regarding cleaning requirements and service schedules.
- Respond to customer feedback, complaints, and service requests.
- Conduct site visits and recommend suitable cleaning solutions.
- Maintain good working relationships with clients and service providers.
6. Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure cleaning staff follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Provide proper training on safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals.
- Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used.
- Promote safe working practices and maintain hygienic working environments.
7. Manpower & Scheduling
- Plan manpower requirements based on site size and cleaning workload.
- Prepare staff rosters, shifts, and deployment schedules.
- Arrange replacement staff when there are absences or emergencies.
- Monitor productivity and ensure adequate staffing at all locations.
8. Administrative & Financial Duties
- Prepare cleaning schedules, quotations, reports, checklists, and other documents.
- Monitor service costs, manpower expenses, and operational budgets.
- Review timesheets, attendance records, and service documentation.
- Assist management with operational planning and business development.
9. Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure cleaning operations comply with company policies and applicable requirements.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Keep updated on cleaning methods, equipment, products, and industry practices.
10. General Responsibilities
- Coordinate with management and other departments to support business operations.
- Handle urgent cleaning requirements and operational emergencies.
- Prepare regular performance reports for management.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company.
