Now Hiring: Cleaning Technician – Hanmer/Val Caron

📍 Location: Hanmer and Val Caron, Ontario
🕒 Position Type: Part-time, with a planned transition to full-time
📅 Hours: Minimum of 20 hours per week
🌙 Schedule: Primarily evening shifts; hours and schedules are subject to change



Key Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas
  • Clean and restock restrooms
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
  • Empty garbage containers and remove debris
  • Follow site-specific cleaning requirements and instructions
  • Complete routine care and maintenance of cleaning equipment
  • Safeguard assigned keys and alarm codes
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding completed work, supplies, or site concerns
  • Follow established health and safety procedures
  • Maintain clean, safe, and hygienic environments for clients



What We’re Looking For

  • Previous commercial or janitorial cleaning experience is an asset
  • Floor-care experience, including the use of swing machines or auto scrubbers, is an asset
  • Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned work
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
  • Willingness to work primarily evening shifts and adapt to schedule changes
  • Must be bondable and able to complete a Criminal Record Check
