Cleanroom Technician (Semiconductor Industry)

  • $2,700 – $3,100 Basic + OT + Performance Bonus

We are a technology-focused company supporting the semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing industry, with specialised operations involving precision components, cleanroom processes and technical logistics.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cleanroom Operations & Logistics Technician to manage the end-to-end handling of high-value semiconductor components.

You will be responsible for handling fragile and high-value components with a high level of precision while ensuring accurate inventory records and strict compliance with cleanroom and safety procedures.

🧪 Your Responsibilities

  • Safely handle, inspect and clean fragile quartz and mechanical components
  • Operate Polyflow automated washing machines according to established SOPs
  • Ensure cleaning and handling processes meet required quality and safety standards
  • Follow strict cleanroom procedures when handling sensitive semiconductor components
  • Receive, unpack and verify incoming parts against relevant documentation
  • Perform accurate inventory checks and ensure proper identification of components
  • Kit and issue parts to engineering teams according to requirements
  • Maintain proper physical control of high-value and sensitive components
  • Coordinate outbound logistics for parts requiring external vendor repair
  • Create and manage RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations)
  • Track repair status and turnaround times
  • Follow up with external vendors to ensure timely return of repaired parts
  • Update ERP / WMS systems promptly for stock movements, repairs and scrap
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and component status
  • Ensure digital records are complete, accurate and up to date
  • Support inventory reconciliation and reporting activities
  • Strictly follow Class 10/100 cleanroom protocols
  • Wear appropriate PPE and cleanroom attire
  • Follow all relevant SOPs and workplace safety procedures

🎯 Requirements;

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, etc
  • 3 years in a semiconductor wafer fab, cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in ERP/inventory systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Able to handle fragile and high-value components carefully
  • Comfortable working with chemical cleaning systems and wearing cleanroom suits / bunny suits
