Client Acceptance Analyst
Summary
Reviews client and third-party data to verify identities, assess financial risks, and check for conflicts or sanctions using compliance tools and databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Know Your Client Due Diligence (KYC DD):
Conduct thorough research using pre-defined checklists and databases to collate and analyze information about clients or third parties to assess potential risks. The risk areas include but are not limited to:- Client identity verification
- Anti Money Laundering
- Sanctions
- PEP
- Financial risk
Summarize research and findings based on KYC DD.
- Conflict of Interest support:
- Support the engagement teams by drafting local and international conflict checks for engagement team input and finalisation
- Maintain proactive communication with engagement teams throughout the various stages of the conflict check process to ensure timely and successful completion thereof
- Auditor Independence support:
- Support the engagement teams by identifying clients that are subject to auditor independence restrictions
- Assist in drafting the non-assurance services forms for engagement team input and finalisation
- Maintain proactive communication with engagement teams throughout the lifecycle of a non-assurance services form to ensure timely completion thereof
- Respond to queries from engagement teams and Engagement Partners regarding client onboarding processes.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as requested by the Central Client Acceptance team.
