About the role
We are seeking a Client Accounting Assistant for the Below-the-Line/ Production department. This role will support our Below-the-Line agents while also floating across the department to fill in the gaps as needed on day-to-day matters. There is an amazing opportunity for growth with potential to become a Client Trust Accountant.
Duties
- Assist in creating and editing invoices.
- Assist in processing payments including (making copies, scanning, mailing out checks and pay stubs, etc.).
- Assist with conducting post-job check-ins with clients.
- Maintain and update client files and start work documents (I9, W9, W4, etc.).
- Assist with entering bookings and various tasks assigned by Agent Assistants as needed.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Learn the needs of the department and support where appropriate.
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Basic payroll and accounting knowledge, skills, or experience (entry level) required.
- Experience with production accounting, and/or production preferred, but not required.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in finance and accounting preferred.
- Savvy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Meticulous and accurate.
Compensation
$21/hour + Full Benefits
