Client Relationship Programme Lead

The Role

This role is a key component of the Global Business Development team, working directly with the Head of Clients and the MNC and Sector Excos to drive collaborative development of client relationships. You will lead initiatives to strengthen client engagement across MNC and sector programmes through direct sales conversations, mobilising partners and their teams, leveraging our global network, and coordinating high-value marketing and communications activity. The role also involves providing advisory and execution services to the business and driving momentum across client programmes to maximise opportunities.

You will regularly interact with senior management, requiring confidence and experience in influencing at this level.

Essential Skills & Experience

Client Development Expertise

· Substantial experience as a senior client development practitioner within a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably legal.

· Direct experience facilitating sales conversations and converting opportunities into new fee income.

Leadership & Influence

· Performs strongly at a Senior level and possesses the ability to influence key partner/lawyer groups and create positive and ambitious team culture.

· Experience setting and monitoring budgets.

Organisational &Communication Skills

· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

· Strong interpersonal skills including confidence, positivity, diplomacy and the ability to gain credibility quickly.

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
